Toni Brou Brandt Minden

If you've ever watched CBS Sunday Morning then you've probably seen Toni Brou's beautiful suns, a signature of the show. Whatever happens in life, Toni knows "the sun always rises." Sharing the space, Brandt's rainbow style contrasts Toni's dramatically while also conveying that same send of happiness and joy. As Brandt says, "try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud."

Artists

Toni Brou

Toni's work spans fine art, illustration, and graphic design. She earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration from KU and works in higher ed as a senior-level graphic designer. Toni learned to love the creative process watching her dad make what he called "junk art." That experience continues to shape her own work.

Brandt Minden

Brandt creates vibrant, colorful pieces featuring all the colors of the rainbow, in various geometric shapes and patterns. His canvases come in all different shapes and sizes. He also takes photographs, mostly of nature, architecture, or anything that catches his eye.

Kim Brook

Kim is a Visual Artist, Arts Educator, and Community Visionary. In all of her projects and endeavors, she prioritizes fostering and creating community bonds.

Lauren Bass

Kansas-raised artist Lauren Bass is a Kansas-raised artist graduated from KU in 2022 with a BA in Film & Media Studies, Environmental Studies, and a minor in Visual Art. Through her work in oil paint, charcoal, and ink, she explores the figural and temporal aspects of the natural world.

Lane Eisenbart

If we had to classify Lane's art, we might say they are a fiber and jewelry artist. They sew and upcycle mostly clothing for sale on their depop and Etsy. Sometimes that means sewing, cutting, embellishing, stamping, dyeing. Funky, Vintage, beautiful on all bodies are their watch words.

Ailecia Ruscin

Ailecia is the sole proprietor of Oh Snap! Photography, a queer- and woman-owned business. She seeks to authentically connect with individuals, couples and families to make art about their lives that express their identities in vulnerable and intimate ways.

Lawrence Percolator is a 501c3 nonprofit art collective dedicated to increasing accessibility to the arts and fostering connection between artist and audience. We're creating in our space an active cultural hub. Come to our free or low-cost workshops, our artist gatherings, and our community-centered programming. In our welcoming third space, artists, creatives, and art lovers connect, collaborate, and build lasting community.

Paul Punzo

Paul has been making colorful linoleum block prints for 15 years, participates in art fairs and lives in North lawrence with his studio in the basement.

Kyla is a web designer and multidisciplinary dabbler drawn to installation, digital art, and collaborative projects that bring people together.

Erika Kjorlie Geery

Erika has been a professional artist since she sold her first painting at the age of 14. She enjoys teaching Art and working with children as well as adults.

Christi Scanlin Dobson, PhD

Christie is a passionate artist, advocate, registered drama therapist, and educator. Her life and work are dedicated to empowering creativity and collaborative social justice work.

Dan Born

Dan Born is a Lawrence playwright who has worked in the town's independent theatre scene for decades, going back to the Renegades and EMU Theatre. His plays have reached stages from Lawrence to Edinburgh, and one of his one-man shows featured Charlie Oldfather.

Michael O. Taylor (MT)

MT is a prolific creator of original mixed media, graffiti, and stencil work. He's also the artist and designer behind PixNinja, a Lawrence studio blending marketing and design.
